I attended my first sewing class last night. I was a little nervous b/c I have never used a sewing machine in my life. I thought the class would be fun b/c I would leave with a completed project. Now that I work from home I need to leave the house after working.
The class was from 6-8:30. I got there a little early to pick out my fabric and get other supplies.
There were 3 other people in the class. This one girl brought her own sewing machine and sewing basket so I figured she knew what she was doing. WRONG. I totally schooled her. She got so frustrated that she gave up at the end and blamed it on her machine! ha! It was actually kinda funny.
The lady that taught the class was really nice and said we can come back to do other projects. We can just pick out a pattern and she'll walk us through it. She showed us these really cute pajama pants and said we could also make a sun dress.

WOW! you made that in one night? I took home-ec in jr. high and it took me 6 months to make an outfit! LOL!

Wow, that is very impressive! As I was reading I was thinking your first project would be something like a pot holder.
