The hubby and I have been attending baby classes at the hospital in preparation for Baby Fitz's arrival. During the first class we had to go around the room and introduce ourselves, announce our due date and tell the class what we are most excited about and what we are most nervous about. I was kind of shocked when the first Dad-to-be said he was most nervous about his Mother-in-Law staying with them for a few weeks. Then the next girl (whose husband was not in attendance for that class) said her due date and our teacher said that she was due that day too! Then the girl said "yeah, but we're not that excited about the due date b/c that's my husband's step-dad's bday and he left the family...so we're not really excited about that."
oookay...I didn't realize the class was going to be a therapy session!
So our turn comes and I have no idea what Fitz is going to say. I just make up something...like I am nervous about labor and that I am excited about meeting him/her. He says..the great communicator that he is..."I am nervous about communicating with the baby" Okay, good one..and he is most excited about finding out the sex.
Soooo, after class we're walking back to the car and I say something like "I didn't know you were nervous about that, I didn't realize it kept you up at night" Of course, it really doesn't keep him up at night and it was the first thing he thought of. Oh.
He then tells me "What I really wanted to say was I am excited and nervous about the same thing....finding out the paternity test results!" Bada-bum.
Nice, gotta love him.

Ha! OK, so he has a sick sense of humor like Ryan. Hagen didn't look like either of us for a long time...and we still don't see it. So that comes up often. Men...gotta love them.
I can not WAIT to find out what is in that belly!
LOVE him! So funny.
Love that story!!
I'm loving your hubby's humor, lmao!
Funny story, you should make a note of that story in your baby book.
