Sass, this is a Crockpot. Also known as a slowcooker.
Here is another Crockpot Recipe I made last week. I got it from Live. Love. Eat.
(I hope it's okay that I re-post her recipe...not sure on all the "rules" of that.)
Sweet Shredded Pork
Put a pork roast in your crock pot. Add 2 cups of salsa, 1 can of coke (not diet) & 1 cup of brown sugar. Cook on low 8-10 hours. Shred with forks in crockpot just before serving & remove any bones. Place some shredded mozzarella on roll, pour some meat on top drizzling a little extra sauce, maybe some more cheese. I put mine in a tortilla with cheese and avacado...delish.

That's what a crockpit is. I now know it's crockpOt, but I kind of like crockpit better.
